@7.30pm

The programme also includes Mozart’s popular Serenata notturna, scored for the unusual combination of strings and timpani, and the joyfully effervescent Divertimento in D major, K.251, allegedly composed as a 25th birthday present for Mozart’s sister.

Ronald Brautigam is one of very few pianists to perform at the highest level on both modern and period instruments. A student of the legendary Rudolf Serkin, he has recorded all of Mozart’s concertos and sonatas, as well as those by Haydn and Beethoven.
